Leki (born in Kinshasa, Congo), is the first female Urban/R&B-pop; star to rise out of Belgium. She is known for many hits including 'Breakin Out', 'Spread my wings', Over the Rainbow'... and is also a radio host at hit radio MNM and a TV presenter at youth channel JIM.

Her first break came at the age of 12 when her elder sister Ya Kid K was singing with Technotronic and Leki was drafted in to help out on backing vocals.
A few years later and while studying law at college in Antwerp, she was chosen by music channel TMF as the presenter of the show Cool Sweat. Soon after that she started a radio career at Studio Brussels with the Saturday night programme Juice. 10 years later and she is still presenting on JIM TV and broadcasting on the MNM radio network.

In 2004 she released her debut album 'Breakin' out' producing the hits 'Breakin' Out', 'Crazy' and 'Latin Lover'. Earning her two TMF music awards that year for 'best new artist' and 'best urban artist'.
Her second album 'Warrior Girl' dropped in 2006, blending many genres into an R&B; sound and featuring guests such as Ya Kid K (Pump up the jam/Technotronic) and Coolio (multi grammy award winning? and platinum selling artist).
She released her highly anticipated third album 'MULTIPLICITY' in 2008, which as the title suggests blends R&B;, Hip Hop, Soul, with a nice Pop flavour and features a guest appearance of Nile Rodgers (Chic, Madonna, David Bowie...) playing guitars on the song "Baby".
The first single "Over the rainbow"? to be released of this album? was the official titletrack?in Belgium for the famous american series Prison Break (part 3 4) and has reached the Belgian single Top 10 and remained in the Top 50 for 15 weeks
Last fall,? The Sweet Mints (Enic? and Kimberley) have been selected to join Leki in her new project as dancers and backing vocalists.
Their single "Love Me Another Day" (Ars/Universal) is set for European release in summer with the album scheduled to follow after the summer.
