Dubstep Dome
Arac started spinning Drum 'n Bass in 2003 under the alias “Nouveau Riche”. Since then he has played on parties and festivals around the country.
Arac has always been busy promoting and spreading the music he loves to a broader audience. For several years he was the co-host and DJ of “Core Frequency”, a radio show on the Antwerp-based FM station “Radio Centraal”. He was also the promoter of the “Core Fusion” parties in Antwerp, which combined different genres like Drum' n Bass, Dubstep, Jungle and Rave on one line-up.
When Dubstep started emerging out of the UK, Arac made the transition from Drum 'n Bass to Dubstep. After years of playing and listening to Drum 'n Bass, he felt like it was time for something new. Dubstep contained the same raw power and emphasis on bass, which had initially drawn him to Drum 'n bass, but there was just a lot more room for innovation.
Nowadays he plays a broad selection of Dubstep tunes; from absolute party bangers to more serious chest plate business beats.
Be prepared to drown in an ocean of bass!
