13:00 - 14:00 Neih Hou- Konitshua!
Since the early 90s, Vox and Jacks (B) have been involved in several musical adventures. They are musically connected by their admiration for electronic music (in the broadest sense).
Formerly at the PIAS label with their electro project REKASH, Vox & Jacks signed at PUSH IT RECORDS (the label owned by fellow DJ/producer PRINZ) early 2010 and released a first well respected EP "COLOMBIAN COCAINE", with remixes by SVEN VAN HEES and KEATCH.
Vox & Jacks re-invent old school house and are clearly inspired by the Madchester scene of the late 80s, early 90s (people like Jon DaSilva, A Guy Called Gerald, Mike Pickering, Graeme Park, Happy Mondays, etc.). Their music is often described as "warehouse" (referring to the rave parties illegally held at warehouses in the late 80s and early 90s) and is appreciated by people like Mike Moore (from the legendary "Theme from s-Express") and Graeme Park (resident at the Manchester Haçienda club).
Bringing their catchy bass lines and piano loop live on stage, that's what Vox & Jacks like the most.
Their appearance at the Laundry Day festival will be an early one... but be aware... they might catch your attention.
It's warehouse, it's Madwerp, it's Push It Records, it's... VOX & JACKS!
