Sous is a three headed techno-collective from Kortrijk, Belgium. Members are Max and the brothers Hendrik and Willem, who is well known in the Belgian electronic music scene for his drum and bass project "Doctrine" and future-bass project "Hush". All three have different musical backgrounds and preferences yet they share a deep love for underground techno music. In their sets as in their productions Sous tries to implement a boundaryless approach to techno, not seeking to fit into any specific genre or subgenre. It's all about quality techno music, always respecting the old whilst embracing the new.

After about a year of DJ-ing at various clubs and festivals, Sous decided it was time to put their release out into the world. In collaboration with the Ghent based "Railroad Recordings", the "Paradox EP" saw the light of day at the end of 2015. Featuring remixes from Belgian heavyweights "Seba Lecompte" and "Maxim Lany", the EP caught the eye of many technoheads in Belgium and abroad.

For their second release, coming in the summer of 2016, Sous had opted to work together with "Gene Karz" and his rapidly growing imprint "Eclipse Recordings". The "Introvert EP" will again feature tot-notch remixes by some of the industries' finest.

Alongside producing and DJ-ing, Sous has always been investing in bringing top-notch techno events to the people of their hometown Kortrijk. On a bi-monthly basis they team up with friends and a local youth organisation, to set up free parties called "Primitive People. Once a year they go big and host a night at the "Reflex XL" festival in Kortrijk. The festival still grows every year and last year they were able to showcase Johannes Heil and Roel Saleminck as headliners.

Sous is also one of the hosts of the infamous concept "Kortryk" and "Deca24" at the Ghent-based nightclub "Decadence". It's a celebration for the many people from Kortrijk who live or work in Ghent and has proven to be one of the most succesful concepts at the nightclub. Lastly Max, together with good friend and fellow DJ Flor, has taken up management at "Club Søndag", a nightclub only open on sundays. Sous plays there quite often, alongside big international artists as: "Woo York", "Vaal", "Hunter/Game", "Heiko Laux" and many more.
