Ruthless started spinning records in 1995, and shortly after, he was already making mixtapes for local radio stations like Radio Balans and Stadsradio Rotterdam.
He started as a resident hardcore DJ at Kozmoz (Belgium) and Maddox (Vlaardingen).

Since 2002 Ruthless is playing all over Holland, in Places like: The Matrixx, The Powerzone, Asta, Tropicana, Outland, NightTown, Silverdome, Locomotion, Club X, Amigo’s, Hemkade, Nightlive, Alcazar, Heineken Music Hall, Bob’s, Hollywood Music Hall, and many more! In 2005 and 2006 the big parties like Qlimax, Defqon 1, In Qontrol, Hardbass, Decibel Outdoor, Sensation Black, Emporium, Tomorrowland, Reverze and Bassleader were also on his schedule!
He also played the decks in countries like; USA, Spain, Belgium, France, Germany, Swiss, Austria, Italy, UK and Poland.

His favourite styles are Hardstyle, Jump/Tek, Oldschool and of course the early Hardcore is where his roots are! When Ruthless plays, you can expect fast mixing, exclusive tracks and many different harder styles in one dj set.

As you know, Ruthless is also a producer. He made a few remixes in 2000 and 2001, of Reeloop - Fucking Society and Da Klubb Kings - Dont Stop with Koen Groeneveld (Klubbheads).
After teaming up with his studio mate Maarten Vorwerk in 2003, things really start to blow! They make a perfect team! Together they make remixes for Benny Benassi, Pulsedriver, Greg C, Boozywoozy, Dark-E, Antonio & Cristiano, Paul T, Bass T, Coone, Lock n Load, Pavo & Zany and more artists!

After the release of Ruthless & Vorwerk - I Feel Like Dancin’ and Jack & The Ripper - Whores In Da House they enter the Dance Charts Top 3 with both these records! ’Remote Control’, Ruthless’ first solo record, was a big hit in Holland, Belgium and France!
The following records of Ruthless & Vorwerk / Ruthless / Vorwerk / Noise Provider are all big clubhits.
All records were released on Ruthless’ own label: ’Square Beats’ and Square LTD.

In 2009 he started a new recordcompany, called The Qompany with Maarten Vorwerk. But in 2010 he decided to go on by himself. Now he can focus on his DJ and Production activities even more.
Be prepared for many more big releases on Squaretraxx and Dirty Workz in the future!
