"Steadily he became one of Belgium’s top house dj’s and producers with more than 15 years activity in the Belgian dance scene as labelmanager, dj, producer, journalist and promoter. He grew up out of a family who's passionate by music. While most of his closest family members are playing their favourite instrument on a high level he is attracted by the world of electronic music, synths, home-studio from the age of 13. A passion for dj'ing was bubbling while he followed hip-hop, jazz, lounge and later on electro, house, techno to ambient music. In the mean time he discovered the world of home studio's, audio recording, synths, drum computers and more while exploring all new sounds in the studio of his backyard neighbour in 1989, definitely all these influences were a small step towards dj'ing in 1995. As a dj he started in Club N9 Eeklo in 1995, continuing in 1997 as one of the first resident dj’s in the popular Club Decadance where he introduced the tech house sound that became the basic music of the club. He was asked to become one of the House resident artists for Kozzmozz in 2002, with a first edition of MuZZic in 2003 and nowadays also holding residencies for El Futuro and Montuno's. As a producer he released the El Futuro EP in 2005 followed by the Digital Playboy EP in 2007, but success came with his releases on the El Futuro Recordings label from 2007 on. Tracks like Lebanese Girl, Wavecatcher and Sensitive Touch came in the bags from world topdj's. In 2009 he scored a first hitsingle with the deep house track U & I followed by the song Closer We'll Become. Global Wave become the N°1 TRACK in the annual TOP 100 from the Progrezmania Radioshow in 2010. 2011 looks great with the remixes of the loungy track Love At Breakfast with the vocal from Mátyás Blanckaert, expectations are high for the first full album from Josh and the Music Moves EP.
