Jochem has been active in the dance music scene for almost a decade now.  He got infected by electronic music in the early days of dance music, where the Belgian scene was pioneering from the very start. With his musical background, his engineering degree and years of experience on the drums, he started producing electronic music.  

His positive view on life makes him a fun artist to watch and his performances are always great entertainment, loved by young and old. He’s also known for his professional behavior and his reliable attitude.

With his trance side project ‘Ephedrix’, he already produced two full albums and he has been released on more than 20  compilations worldwide.  Ephedrix has had an incredible gig schedule with over 100 performances in more than 15 countries including Brazil, Japan, Russia, Argentina and off course all over Europe. 
They are famous for their full live show, including live drums and visuals synchronized to the music. Ephedrix is seen as one of the icons in today’s Belgian Psytrance scene, with over 15.000 fans on Facebook.

Always looking for new challenges, he started a new project: Jochem Peterson. Since his first release in April 2010, he received good feedback from all over the world. The first EP entered the beatport progressive house charts with from the first day and he even reached a n°1 spot for two months in the beatport psytrance charts with his ‘Wild Silence(Neelix rmx)’.

Jochem even has his own label now! He created Atmosphere Records where he does the A&R and artist management.
